Tristar Forestry Service is a veteran-owned small business providing urban logging and timber recovery services for property owners and contractors in the Greater Nashville, Tennessee area.
When trees fall or are downed due to disease, disaster, development, or necessity, Tristar Forestry bridges the gap between tree removal and wasted timber. We provide on-site assessments to identify logs with potential to be used as high-quality timber. We then remove, load, and transport the timber to reputable lumber yards, specialized mills, artist workshops, furniture makers, or renewable biofuel. This practice prevents the tree from being wasted, as is too often the case when they are taken to a landfill or turned into wood chips.
Tristar Forestry is a low-impact forestry provider. We use lighter and smaller equipment that minimizes damage to lawns, landscapes, and paved surfaces.
